My landlady died and have been given 2 months notice to leave?

i have contacted croydon council and they have told me to put my belongings into storage and wait for the bailiffs to arrive i explained to them that this wasnt possible as i cant afford to do that and i have 3 children could somebody pleas tell me where i stand as time is running out thanks.
