Salary for Mcdonalds in UK?

It is the rent that is expensive in London area, I don't know the price of the rents because I live in Scotland but McDonald's pay the minimum wage here in Glasgow.which is �5.95ph($9.50ph) To buy a studio type flat in London you are talking around �250,000 but here in Glasgow you can buy a 4 bedroom detached house for that price. I imagine that food prices are the same in London as they are anywhere else in the UK.
